Barbara Peterson DNP, AGNP-c is a graduate of the University of Iowa, gaining her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2018. She is Board Certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Barbara has experience with the practice of clinical oncology, hematology, and cancer genetics since that time. She has a passion for the care of adult and geriatric medicine, epigenetics and patient advocacy. Her philosophy is to provide a wholistic approach to health care with prevention through proactive interventions.
In her free time, you will find Barbara hiking, painting, reading, and spending time with her family. She is also proud to call herself an emotional support human to her Newfoundland dog, Molly.
